While keeping references to their previous work, Tree of Dawn is revealing a new side of themselves by introducing curious experimentalism into their music.

Originally a voice-piano duo, not only Tree of Dawn now features Antreas Yerolatsitis on electric guitar but also brings their new source of inspiration – analog synths- in the spotlight. The band explores different sonic textures via both- vocal and instrumental pieces. Seven of them are originals and two- arrangements of Jazz standards that sort of keep a link to the band’s Jazz background.

In this album Tree of Dawn drifts away from traditional song structures and explores adult themes, seeming lighthearted and careless for a moment, then introducing darker undertones in the next.

Genre-wise, “Electric Tree” is an eclectic experience, partially indie electronic, partially avant-pop with occasional Jazz influences.
